The fit out consisted of receiving the area from the main contractor and completing 1st and 2nd fix M&E, dry lining walls, completing wall and floor finishes and installing kitchen and bar equipment.

From tender stage Hospitality Design proved an adaptable, competent and capable partner in the fit-out of Cornerstone’s café bar and kitchen facilities. The team were flexible in the face of the challenges of the bespoke design. Hospitality Design also worked concurrently on site whilst the main contract works were finalised which required them to be flexible on timings and accommodating to other trades and sub-contractors. From our point of view, at Kendrick Hobbs, our interest is delivering catering to the client in operating format as smoothly as possible on time and to budget and Hospitality Design were a great help in achieving this.

Our approach is straightforward and that is to work closely with our client to deliver a quality project to the agreed standards and within the agreed timeframe. Didcot Arts Centre provided us with a number of challenges in relation to the programme our proactive approach was to work with the contractor and postpone works until it suited the contractor for us to return and complete the project.
